4* WR surprised about Mizzou offer

We've seen a flood of recruits tweeting out their official offers from Mizzou, they come in the form of "Golden Tickets" with the player's name, the signatures of each coach and officially inform the player they've been offered.

6'3" 224 lb WR Kyle Davis from Lawrenceville, Georgia learned about it today and was surprised to learn he'd received the offer.

Ranked as a 4* prospect by all the major services but none of them appeared to know he had an official offer. He's being recruited by new safety coach Ryan Walters.

Rock Bridge DB Bryce Banks is decommitting from Mizzou

5

Bryce Banks originally committed to Mizzou back on June 7th and it came right on the heels of the commitment of 4* DE Tre Williams. A recent visit to Illinois changed his mind about his decision.

According to this tweet by Dave Matter, it sounds like this may be a situation where a local kid needs a change of scenery.

This is why we've taken to calling them reservations or pledges.

This brings Mizzou's commitment number down to 12 after the yesterday's commitment of Jerod Alton.

We wish the best for the Rock Bridge athlete.

The 74-year old Powers, Mizzou's head coach from 1978-84, Was diagnosed four years ago. "Though he might not remember what month it is, he sure remembers when Missouri beat Notre Dame." Alzheimer's is particularly cruel in the way that it selects what you are and aren't able to remember. Thoughts and prayers to Coach Powers and his family.

The Chiefs have signed L’Damian Washington

It's early and we can only hope he makes it to a final roster, but it's excellent news to hear that the lanky speedster is getting another shot at an NFL roster, particularly one on a team with one excellent Mizzou WR already.
